Outside of hockey, Gianluca also loves to play basketball, golf, and especially loves animals. He has two dogs ‘Romeo’ and ‘Hattrick’ and his favorite animal is the Capybara. Some of his interests are architecture, playing the guitar, studying Italian, and playing NHL 26 with his buddies.

1 / 2Gianluca works with various skills coaches including Radek Martinek, former NHL defensmen, and Andrew Verglucci, head coach of Stonybrook University ACHA D1. He also skates with the Texas Brahmas of the NAHL. He is focused on fine tuning all areas of his game, and he puts in the work behind the scenes to make that possible.

After an all time best season serving as captain of the Long Island Rebels 14UAA, Gianluca tries out for the Long Island Gulls 15UAAA team. Gianluca made the team, and is excited to embark on his first tier 1 season.
